ARCON Design Build PLC is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician III to support testing activities for soils and construction materials. The role involves assisting with laboratory procedures, preparing samples, operating basic testing equipment, and ensuring accurate records under supervisory guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory testing of soils and construction materials.
• Prepare samples, operate basic testing equipment, and record results.
• Follow established testing procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain laboratory tools, equipment, and cleanliness.
• Support senior technicians in report preparation and data entry.
• Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Technical/Vocational School Certificate (TVET/Level) in Construction Technology, Laboratory Technology, or related fields.

Experience

• 10+V (Level V) completion with 2 years relevant experience, OR
• 10+IV (Level IV) completion with 4 years relevant experience, OR
• 10+III (Level III) completion with 6 years relevant experience.

Knowledge

• Basic understanding of soil mechanics and construction material properties.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures.
• Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, or BS standards is an advantage.

Skills

• Basic laboratory testing and equipment handling.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and accurate record keeping.
