Job Description 

Junior Technical Support Engineer is an entry-level technical support position at ZEMEN. A Junior Technical Support assists our customers with all aspects of technical support, training and on job training needs. The primary role is to learn ZEMEN product features, how the products work and how to deploy them in customer data center.

Major responsibilities of the job and the percentage of time spent on each responsibility.

• Communicate and solve customers’ problems via phone, email, live chat and face-to-face meetings
• Act as the primary liaison between company and your customers
• Install and configure products in customer data center
• Prepare user manuals, training manuals, training presentations
• Document support issues and their solutions in a knowledge base
• Provide training to customers
• Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
• Writing weekly report of duty

About You

Skills and Trainings required for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related
• Knowledge of basic database system installation and management, IIS configuration
• Knowledge of server installation and configuration
• Knowledge of SQL language
• Good understanding of networking and IP
• Ability to write software documentation such as SRS, SDD, User Manual
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
