Responsibilities

• Assists senior electrician in major electrical and electronic maintenance and overhaul tasks
• Under the guidance of senior electrician Performs minor preventive maintenance of plant machinery and equipment
• Makes ready maintenance tools and equipment before start of maintenance task, and cleans and keeps the same in proper order when the maintenance task is over
• Prevents breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
• Performs effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Prepares handover reports.
• Ensure that all problems related to food safety management system is reported to the immediate supervisor and Quality personnel.
• Ensure reduction targets (environmental objectives) are in place for environmental aspects e.g. water consumption and discharge, waste, energy, and greenhouse gas emissions.
