Job Profile

The Jr. Accountant is responsible for providing support to businesses by managing daily accounting and financial tasks. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting in developing standards, handling transactions for cash management, credit, payroll and disbursement processing and collecting cost monitoring activities of the Company.

Job Detail:

• Controls the processing and recording of cash payments, accounts payable, cheques, etc
• Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries and verifies the documentation provided by beneficiary as matter of proof
• Responsible for communicating with customers for uncollected cheque and informing the supervisors with 15 days’ time slot
• Accountable for filling of documentation with appropriate flow and procedure with paid stamp
• Responsible for collecting cheque approvals with signatories in customer’s priority list and approval scheme
• Provides reconciles data, supplier accounts, collection receivable accounts with sales, loan repayments and contributions and produces monthly accounting statement
• Performs other related duties assigned by the section and other division managers

Job Requirement

Required Qualification and Experience:  1st degree Accounting and Finance or related fields and 1 year related work experience in Finance Operation Activities.
