Job Description


Job Summary

The position will include the following tasks:

Export Customer management

  • Be familiar with history of all international customers, in terms of products purchased, timing of purchases, changes in products, future direction of company, etc. Offer suggestions to buyers based on research of their brand and their trends.
  • Manage sales accounts for designated buyers, which include all correspondence with buyers, producing production plans, following up production of the orders

Costing, pricing and quality management

  • Every year work with management team to review costing and pricing and agree to adjusted prices for the new year and share the new prices for international buyers each year.

New product development and design, and promotion

  • Assist Marketing Manager and external consultants with annual or biannual product development cycle in coordination with production department and R and D department.
  • Assist with photography if required

WFTO and Sustainability

  • Manage our relationship with World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO)

Department management

  • Be responsible to manage International marketing assistant

Management team

  • participate actively on management team

Job Requirement

  • BA degree in marketing, sales, business management/planning or related field of study
  • 2 years and above work experience in marketing and sales
  • Exposure and/or experience with global marketing, preferably in textiles
  • Work experience in manufacturing company is an asset
  • Good proficiency in English and Amharic
  • Women are highly encouraged to apply
  • Commitment; 5 days a week, plus 1 Saturday per Month
