Job Description


Alema Farms PLC is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to assess financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in internal auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits to assess financial records, internal controls, and operational procedures.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in financial and operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Ethiopian accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with the finance and management teams to enhance internal controls.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the agricultural or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High ethical standards and strong attention to detail.
