Purpose:

A skilled Internal Audit Manager to develop and execute an annual audit plan that encompasses all aspects of Tabor’s business, with the express responsibility of ensuring total compliance with company directives and regulations.

This role is also charged with conducting regular reviews of the business to identify risks, ensure compliance, assess budget adherence, provide reports and aid in the

rectification of any delinquencies

Sample Responsibility:

• Oversee the planning and execution of all Internal Audit Department tasks;
• Train, supervise and support subordinate team;
• Prepare and conduct draft annual audit plan;
• Review assignments of audit resources and draft audit reports to ensure comprehensive and accurate coverage of audit scope;
• Coordinate, supervise and conduct audits and investigations;
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems for each department;
• Ensure all business activities are free of corruption and favouritism, and all resources are protected from theft and utilized to the interest of company stakeholders;
• Confirm adherence to company standards and policies, as well as general best practices and legal requirements;
• Disclose application weaknesses and provide solutions for exceptions and noted problems;
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively

JOB REQUIREMENT

Qualification: BA/MA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 8-10 years’ work experience in accounting and/or audit role with majority experience in a manufacturing company

Competencies Required:

• Highly developed sense of responsibility and integrity;
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and risk-based auditing with a focus on financial risk and control requirements;
• Highly adaptable with ability to work with all levels of staff;
• Ability manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines;
• Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture;
• Ability to work independently as well as act as a team player;
• Fluency in English and
• Amharic is preferred;
• Special skills in performance auditing and IT auditing are added advantages

Compensation: ETB 40,000- 50,000
