Job Description

The Role:

The Instructor is responsible for the training activities in the training center and exercises initiative and discretion in the assignment of various training schedule designed by Toyota Motor Corporation. The Instructor encompasses the proper achievement of pre-determined training plan of the Training Centre in line with developing highly skilled and qualified technicians.

You will:

  • Participate in the preparation of annual training schedule and action plan of the training center
  • Conduct various training in accordance with the annual schedule and to the benefit of the company through improvement of productivity.
  • Guides, trouble shoot and/or diagnose vehicles equipped with EFI, TCCS etc by using high tech diagnostic equipment.
  • Actively involve in vehicle problem complaint information that needs reporting to TMC through Field Technical Report (FTR)
  • Keep up to date record of the performance of each trainees and technicians skill level registration.
  • Provide the technical support necessary to sell service.
  • Participate in performance evaluation training center on a regular basis.
  • Participate in the employment and maintain a skilled technical staff that can perform high tech training.
  • Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service all the vehicles the company sells.
  • Participates in the preparation of procedures and implementation of technician’s skill contest.
  • Reviews technical bulletins and communicates to the appropriate service personnel.

Requirements

Your key experience shall be:

  • Experience in designing & deivering structured development program
  • Experience in conducting technical skill need assessment and converting same into program
  • Experience in adult learning (adragogy)
  • Experience in demonstrating exceptional communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in the automotive sector or international organizations is advantageous

You’ll ideally have the following qualifications:

  • First degree in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering or other related fields
  • 3 years relevant expereince as Instructor/Trainer with solid experience on LMS (learning management system)

  • Good interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven and results-driven
  • Ability to understand & cypher technical terms (focus in automotive)
  • Aptitude for persuasion and engaging others
  • Proven track record in learning environment
  • Proficient in using computers for variety of tasks and using earning management system.
