Job Description


Kifiya Financial Technologies is a company developing scalable and secured technology platforms over the past twelve years. The company has a distribution network covering the whole of Ethiopia through 16 regional offices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Alignment:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business unit’s goals, challenges, and operations to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide HR insights and contribute to decision-making processes.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Partner with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, to ensure a pipeline of skilled and engaged employees.

Organizational Development and Change Management:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, streamline processes, and support business growth.
  • Manage and communicate changes effectively, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement programs to foster a positive work culture, improve employee morale, and enhance overall job satisfaction.

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to set performance expectations and provide guidance on performance management processes.
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing employee relations issues and ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies.
  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Work with business leaders to determine competitive compensation structures that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the compensation team to ensure fair and consistent pay practices.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Organizational Development or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or similar role, with a focus on creating an enabling work environment

Competency/Prerequisites:

  • Proven experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role within a business sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business goals into HR strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability
