Job Description


Job Summary

The HR & Administration  Manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls HR & administration activities of the company.; directs the formulation  and implementation of staff recruitment, placement, training, orientation, development, and other personnel policies; ensures proper provision of general services, logistics  and insurances .

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, organise, direct, co-ordinate control and review the human resources and property  administration activities of the Company;;
  • Regularly follow up and monitor employment procedures such as recruitment, selection, orientation, placement and development activities
  • Conduct job analysis,  update job specifications and job descriptions to determine the knowledge and skills required and to allot   responsibility and accountability
  • Identify training and development requirements of employees and devise strategies to ensure gaps are closed
  • Ensure performance management and reward  system  including: performance planning, monitoring, and annual performance appraisals are  in place and made functional
  • Ensures vehicles utilization, maintenance and logistics management are implemented  as per company policies and procedures
  • Ensures proper records of assets and property inventory is regularly reconciled
  • Ascertain existence of insurance policies and all time valid covers related to personnel, vehicles, and buildings, working premises.
  • Ascertain existence of safety and security  policies and procedures and see that these are fully in force
  • Prepares and submits quarterly and annual reports
  • Perform other duties assigned by the CEO or Managing Director

Job Requirement

EDUCATION: BA Degree in Management/Public Administration or related.

EXPERIENCE: 12 years of experience; 6 of which in managerial positions.

OTHER SKILLS

  • Strong organizational skills and ability;
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision making skills;
  • Fluency in English language and written communication;
  • Sufficient knowledge in federal labor laws
