Job Description


Purpose:

A skilled HR Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. He/she will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives through development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.

This role must ensure compliance with company, local and federal regulations while promoting corporate values and vision to the company’s 455 employees. The HR Manager oversees human resources management, job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, talent management, payroll administration, as well as all other HR responsibilities

Sample Responsibility:

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues;
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization to engage, motivate and preserve human capital;
  • Nurture a positive working environment;
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance;
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program;
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management;
  • Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures;
  • Conduct new employee orientations and employee relations counselling as well as exit interviews;

JOB REQUIREMENT

Qualification: BA/MA degree in Human Resources or related field; 8-10 years’ work experience in an HR Management role at a similar company

Competencies Required:

  • Highly competent writing and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building and at all levels of the company;
  • Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive;
  • People oriented and results driven;
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task;
  • The ability to effectively delegate and manage people and projects;
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases;
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills;
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international labor law and HR best practices.

Compensation: ETB 40,000- 50,000
