Job Description

About the Job

  • Plan, organize, and manage recruitment, onboarding, and exit procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects of recruitment, including interviewing, selection, and hiring processes.
  • Consulting with top executives on talent management strategies
  • Provide strategic guidance on HR to the office
  • Planning HR and administration activities weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with policies, and fostering a productive work environment.
  • Implementing and maintaining performance management systems that help track and evaluate employee performance
  • Support staff in goal setting and supporting the work process
  • Assessing training needs based on staff performance
  • Providing feedback, Coaching, training and regular check-ins, monthly reviews, and annual appraisals
  • Plan and source staff training monthly, and quarterly to ensure that employees have the necessary skills to succeed in their roles.
  • Payroll administration
  • Addressing absenteeism and lateness issues within the workforce.
  • Conduct investigations into frequent absences, provide support to employees facing challenges that affect their attendance, and implement strategies to improve overall attendance rates.
  • Optimize staffing levels, address productivity issues, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Stay updated and advise the management about the laws affecting the company and its employees to ensure legal compliance in areas such as employment practices, benefits administration, and others.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Management, Business administration, Human Resources, Leadership Management, or related fields from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 5 years in Human Resources and 2 years in management level for a BA degree and 3 years for a Master’s Degree
  • Fluency in English and Amharic (both spoken and written).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
