Job Description


Responsibility

  • Prepare correspondence, forms, manuals, schedules, contracts, and reports for the director of human Resources.
  • Prepare recruitment and new-hire packets.
  • Process and receive criminal history record information on applicants and volunteers, references, and other application materials.
  • Compile pertinent data as needed when preparing various state, and local reports, including State
  • Prepare forms for submission to ISBE.
  • Initiate and maintain physical and computerized departmental files for all employees and applicants including verification of completeness of files.
  • Responsible for online application process, including verifying completeness of files, sending acknowledgement cards and notifying those not selected for employment.
  • Assist with the purging of inactive HR records.
  • Process requests for official district records, including maintaining log of requests for records.
  • Coordinate the assignment of student teachers, observers, and field experience requests from local Universities and preparation programs.
  • Post job vacancies on district and Region websites along with various other professional/educational Websites as applicable.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Update internal databases with new hire information
  • Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
  • Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days
  • Publish and remove job ads
  • Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
  • Develop training and on boarding material

Job Requirement

Qualifications , experience &  skills required:

  • Management, Human Resources Management , Public administration, Leadership and related fields of study
  • Minimum of 3 years Work experience as an HR Admin Officer and secretary.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Basic knowledge of labor legislation
  • Experience using spreadsheets
  • Organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Building relationships and partnerships
  • Good command of the English language
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
