Job Description


PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Human Resources to join our team at a leading real estate construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive work environment. The candidate must reside in our camp, monitor all camp activities, manage employee relations, and maintain accurate records of annual leave balances.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development programs.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Reside in the company camp to ensure a hands-on approach to managing HR activities.
  • Monitor all camp activities, including staff welfare, accommodation, and amenities.
  • Address any issues or grievances related to camp living conditions promptly.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular meetings with employees to gather feedback and implement
    improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of annual leave balances.
  • Approve or deny leave requests based on operational requirements and company policy.
  • Ensure proper communication of leave policies to all employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job details, and Performance reviews.
  • Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.
  • Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective HR operations.

Requirements and skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR management, specifically in the construction or real estate industry.
  • Proven track record of managing HR functions in a camp or remote setting.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to reside in the company camp.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Employment Type –

Salary –20,000-30,000 Net a month, Free Food Service, Accommodation in the Camp. There might be a room for more negotiation for the right fit.
