Job Description


Job responsibility:

  • Responsible for HS (health and safety) related issues for the infrastructure development project.
  • Revise and optimize HS related policies based on actual work conditions and monitor implementation of the HS polices, make sure such policies comply with related laws and regulations.
  • Participate in HS risk assessments at a corporate and project level. Protect staff at work and prevent injury and health issues through consistent HS management activities.
  • Provide training to company employees regarding HSQE issues and polices.
  • Manage internal site inspections and audits and make sure work activities and site conditions meet company policies and relevant external standards.
  • Carry out and document risk assessments, and investigate major or high-risk accidents and incidents and prepare reports.
  • Salary standard is determined according to the applicant’s experience and capability.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

  • Recognized qualification in occupational safety and health or environmental health and safety.
  • At least 15 years of professional experience.
  • At least 10 years’ similar experience as health and safety manager/expert during the construction of major civil engineering projects with a specific focus on water or wastewater treatment plants, having a proven track record in establishing and implementing safety working procedures.
  • Proficient in using English as working language, and sound skills in communication and negotiation.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships
  • This position requires a candidate to arrive on board as soon as possible.
