The Radisson Blu Addis Ababa is looking for a dynamic, organized and committed Head of Security and Health and Safety . The job holder will be responsible for all the security aspects of the hotel and for implementing the health and safety procedures across the hotel. The post holder manages and leads the whole security team by ensuring appropriate rostering is in place; regular high quality training is given to all staff as well as maintain and develop good relationships with all law enforcement agencies; ensure all security procedures are in place and implemented consistently at all times. The post holder is responsible for ensuring all security certifications, both in the country and from international certifiers, are updated. They will also be responsible for fire drills and security equipment. They will also investigate any security breaches within the hotel and provide timely reports to the senior management and headquarters.

Competencies and Qualifications  required:

• Good written report writing skills in both English and Amharic
• Degree from a well recognized university or equivalent qualifications
• Self starter
• Very good IT knowledge
• Well organized, efficient and able to work under pressure
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a security management position, preferably in the hospitality industry
• A good team player with a good track record of managerial skills
