We are seeking a Grants Manager to serve our field office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.In the role of Grants Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Provide oversight for all grants within the portfolio, ensuring timely submission of proposals and amendments.
  • Liaise with IHQ on all proposals, agreements, and amendments.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to ensure systems are in place that provide for preparation of timely and accurate reports.
  • Ensure standardization of proposals in line with donor and Samaritan’s Purse templates and protocols and with country office strategies.
  • Develop and utilizes tools, templates, and work processes that result in streamlined and efficient proposal creation teamwork.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret calls for proposals, funder regulations, and technical procedures or governmental regulations
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to develop and carry out work plans and solve problems independently
  • Ability to write information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required

Travel Expectations: Travel to field sites when necessary; documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
