Summary

As our General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ATS. You will be a visionary leader, a strategic architect, and an operational powerhouse, driving growth and success across all our ventures.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to all departments within ATS, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Business Development: Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of new business opportunities in the digital solutions and e-commerce space. Explore and champion disruptive startup ventures that align with ATS’s vision.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive long-term strategic plans for ATS, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all operational aspects of the company, including project management, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring their satisfaction and driving long-term value.
• Financial Acumen: Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s financial health, monitoring budgets, forecasting revenue, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Talent Acquisition: Attract, recruit, and retain top talent, building a diverse and highly skilled workforce.
• Community Engagement: Champion ATS’s commitment to social impact and contribute to the development of Ethiopia’s tech ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a technology or e-commerce company.
• Proven track record of leading and growing successful businesses.
• Strong understanding of digital solutions, e-commerce trends, and disruptive startup models.
• Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
• Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Fluency in English and Amharic; additional languages a plus.
• Passion for technology, innovation, and social impact.
