Purpose

The purpose of the position is, among other things, to facilitate gender transformative and inclusive approach in PCM;

• work with concerned stakeholders to create enabling environment for ensuring gender equality in project implementation;
• facilitate the materialization of systems and procedures developed to enhance gender transformation and inclusive approach in project implementation;
• facilitate and follow up active and inclusive community engagement in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the project through the perspective of gender transformative approaches.
• S/he will be engaged in the day-to-day operations of the project, and participates in the monitoring of the project by applying gender-sensitive check-lists for ensuring compliance with the relevant policies & procedures pertaining to gender and community engagement

Requirements

Qualification : MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, or related fields

Experience: At least 2/4 years relevant experience
