Basic Responsibilities:

• Assess the capabilities of students and develop appropriate lesson plans and curricula
• Use both in-class activities and online resources to create a blended learning environment
• Organize conversational classes and fun events where students can engage with French culture
• Develop and grade informal and formal written and oral assessments
• Implement teaching lessons according to grade levels
• Conduct innovative sessions for students
• Develop appropriate learning materials, language games, and other teaching aids
• Monitor student performance and adjust teaching strategies and techniques for improved content delivery
• Establish classroom rules and ensure students understand and accept them
• Communicate any student issues to Principals and parents as required
• Offer suggestions to improve French lessons and general school operations
• Attend school events and staff meetings as required
• Perform other related tasks as necessary

Job Requirement

Education: Diploma, DALF / Degree in French language or Literature, Teaching certificate/License

Experience:

• 4 years’ experience teaching French language and literature
• experience teaching international students
• experience working in a highly multicultural environment
• experience in effective classroom management

Other Requirements:

• Proven proficiency in oral and written French
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Patience, resilience, and cultural sensitivity
• Computer literate
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules
• Recommendation from a previous employer or a person known to SIM
