Pepsico/ Senselet Food Processing is a potato processing company in Ethiopia producing potato chips. It has been set up in accordance with European standards and knowledge and produces high quality potato crisps, branded as Sun Chips, that are sold locally in the Ethiopian market.

Main purpose of the role:

• Forklift Operator responsibilities include loading & unloading finished and products from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places. Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or cartons for storage or shipment. Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

Responsibilities 

• Timely offloading of trucks with finished goods deliveries from factory,
• Inspection of loads against load order and quality check of the products
• Adhere to safety standards on operating on vehicles and around forklifts,
• Maintain cleanness of the warehouse and adhere to GMP standards set,
• Proper stacking of finished good on the appropriate layout and per SKU,
• Ensure timely and accurate loading of finished goods on our sales trucks,
• Perform loading/ offloading/ moving tasks in the warehouse and office as per the direction of storekeepers,
• Making sure proper PPE and safety requirements are met in the warehouse,
• Making sure food safety practices are adhered to and report any observed risks immediately,
• Play key role in 5S standards implementation in the warehouse,
• Ensure traceability by adhering to FEFO inventory issuing protocol,
• Making sure warehouse is ready for cycle count,
• Loading and Unloading materials from Variety of Vehicles and trailers.
• Give any Support to the departments as the request.
• Store the Products in Proper place in the Warehouse.
• Checking Loads are Secure.
• Performing equipment checks and basics Maintenance.
• Following written instruction and Keeping records.
• Identify and report Faulty pieces of equipment, Damage, and Safety Concerns to the Supervisor Immediately.
• Keeping records and documentations in compliance with the standards.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

• Valid Driving license Heavy Machine Driving License 6
