Responsibility

Responsible to Pilot-in-Command (PIC) when on flight duty.

• Responsible to the PIC for the mechanical pre-flight acceptance of the aircraft and the safe and efficient operation of aircraft components and equipment over which he/she has control.
• Maintains liaison with Operations and Maintenance on matters regarding the operation and maintenance of the aircraft.
• Responsible for fueling of the aircraft and other duties assigned by the PIC.
• Responsible for the information, procedures, and requirements contained in the companies Approved Maintenance Manual (AMM) pertaining to flight engineer duties.
• Assists with loading and unloading activities of the aircraft.

Job Requirement

Qualifications:

• Holds a current Airframe, Power plant license and or Avionic license. Preferably rated on Fokker 50.
• Proven knowledge of aircraft, engine and systems on the Aircraft operated.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance practices, troubleshooting techniques, regulatory training and ECAA regulations.
• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in aircraft maintenance field.
