Job Summary

The Fleet Management Officer is responsible for supporting, processing and implementation of the company’s transport service by participating in planning/ coordinating and controlling movement, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and arrangement of the vehicle operations in the factory.

Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Ensure appropriate movement of incoming and outgoing vehicles at the designated areas of the factory.
  • Coordinate efficient and timely transport service provision to all employees in the factory according to the shift arrangement with appropriate data recording and documentation.
  • Develop and submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports of transport service activities and cost at the factory and provide recommendations where necessary.
  • To ensure all the vehicles providing service to the employees fulfil the required criteria and on safe condition.
  • To ensure awareness creation to the employees and drivers on all accident and related issues, record and document any accident report on time.
  • To ensure all vehicles are coming and leaving on time at entry and exit hour and providing proper service to the employee.
  • Provide the necessary support to concerned departments that need transport service for company work.
  • Ensure timely contract agreement renewal and documentation of all relevant documents related to transport service activities.
  • Collect the required accurate data and process payment for transport service providing agencies on time.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Type of Employment: Permanent.

Salary and Other Benefit Packages: Attractive and can be determined with negotiation based on the candidate’s previous earning, qualification and competency.

Work Place: Gelan Factory.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience.

  • Bachelor degree or its equivalent in business administration, management, logistics, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 – 4 years of experience in transport management.

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skill.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, words, excel, internet etc.
  • Willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changing requirements.
