We are seeking a highly qualified and results-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the resort’s financial operations and ensure sound financial management in line with company policies and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all financial and accounting activities of the resort.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability, and provide financial analysis to management.
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other regulatory bodies.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory reports and tax filings.
• Monitor inventory and asset management to safeguard company resources.
• Support management with financial planning, business analysis, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification in IFRS or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Previous experience in the hospitality, hotel, resort, or service industry is highly desirable.

Required Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
