Job Summary

Under the general direction of the General Manager, the Finance Department manager is responsible for and vested with the following major duties and responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing ,coordinating and leading the overall financial and accounting functions and activities of the Company;
• Managing, overseeing and following up the proper functioning of financial and accounting and operational activities of the Company;
• Developing, revising and implementing the Company’s financial, and accounting management, chart of accounts, policy, procedure and working system;
• Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of sound and modern financial management system and  practices that enable the Company carry out  its business function in the most effective way;
• Preparing annual budget, setting  strategic financial objectives of the Company and monitoring the financial objectives implementation and controlling budget utilization of departments;
• Ensuring the timely closing of annual accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles or IFRS system, and ensuring that auditors’ comments are properly implemented with proper corrective actions;

Qualification

• BA in accounting plus 8 years’ experience out of which 3 years as Finance Department Manager of similar company
• MA in accounting and Finance plus 6 years’ experience out of which 2 years as Finance Department Manager of  similar company
