Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare all range Plans and budgets of the factory and execute up on approval
• Ensure the proper staffing of the factory
• Maintain standard feed recipe while keeping new alternative development /improvement
• Follow and review production records of all diversity products of the factory
• Ensure the proper scheduling of feed production
• Follow and ensure quality standards in all product and production processes
• Ensure the availability of feed ingredient inventory for an optimal operation of the factory
• Ensure quality of feed or grain with a pre defined quality assurance system
• Set and maintain standard operational procedures as part of Total Quality Management within the factory
• Prepare and deliver scheduled and interim reports to the management of the company and other concerned authorities
• Set a planned system of customer feedback collection mechanism and handle all the complaints and request
• Develop and execute an effective marketing plan to ensure the appropriate market share of the factory
• Assess and analyze the market position of the factory products and services
• Maintain the factory up to date with required new technology
• Plan a market enrichment and development activities to the products of the factory
• prepare and execute staff training and development schedules for both technical and leadership positions
• perform any other duties to be assigned by the management and immediate supervisor

Job Requirement

Education: first degree and above in Animal feed production, Animal Science, Chemistry, Management or in   any other related field of study

Experience: Practical and proven experience on similar position or very related level and area for a minimum of 4 years

Work Station: Addis Ababa Akaki-Kality sub city adjacent to the quality Bus station in the factory compound
