Job Description


  • Proactively manages and coordinates logistics with minimal errors;
  • Works with shippers and trans-loaders to execute bookings and ensure vendors/ suppliers/service providers are paid timely;
  • Timely manages communication between suppliers, shippers, customers, and internal parties, maintains details, and relays pertinent information to appropriate parties;
  • Obtains export certificates from various government agencies in compliance with each shipment;
  • Assures compliance with customs, export, applicable foreign trade/importation laws, as well as applicable federal transport regulations;
  • Initiates timely invoicing and work closely with Finance Department to ensure billing accuracy;
  • Identifies risks and opportunities, when developing logistics plan and freight estimates for super loads, international shipments to ensure cost-effective, safe, and efficient transportation of company’s products;
  • Processes freight claims and customer complaints;
  • Reviews, prepares, and invoices for payment;
  • Handles all export shipments as per the export procedures and requirements in collaboration with concerned authorities and freight forwarder company;
  • Gates books of export cargo as per the plan of shipment, notifies and communicates with recipient delegation in due time;
  • Facilitates tendering process of freight forwarding companies in collaboration with the Department manager;
  • Implements and enforces all general and transport-related rules & regulations;
  • Implements and enforces all local customs- and transport- related laws and procedures for export and transit goods;
  • Evaluates all the invoices submitted by freight forwarding company, places payment request for all executed services and submit all the export documents/invoices to Finance for payment timely;
  • Maintains an excellent level of awareness of the freight forwarding company market (availability, suppliers, prices, etc.)
  • Identifies potential suppliers of transport-related services (customs agents, transport companies, etc.)
  • Undertakes other related activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

About You

  • From recognized university or college first degree in Logistics & Supplies Management/ Procurement & Supply Chain Management/Supplies Management/ Materials Management/ Procurement Management/ Business Administration/ Business Management/ Management/ Office Services Management or other relevant field of study
  • 3 years related work experience
