Job Description


Job Summary

The Environmental, Safety & Health Officer is responsible and accountable for implementation, maintenance and continually improvement of EHS policies and standards of the company. Environmental, Safety & Health Officer is a crucial EHS role that must be performed well to ensure the safety of employees, customers, environment and products/brands.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Comply company health and safety policies and procedures fully.
  • Perform EHS in accordance with standard operating procedure and regulations.
  • Conduct daily and weekly check of employees and premises hygiene and sanitation. Report any variation in timely manner.
  • Track employee (food handler) health check.
  • Develop hygiene and sanitation chemicals and equipment list.
  • Monitor, adjust, create and validate EHS methods to ensure they are current and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Investigate abnormality related to EHS.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve EHS, improve protocols, processes and PPE equipment.
  • Communicate deviations, progress and interim results to the Management team.
  • Maintain detailed record of observations and data from experiments performed and prepare reports.
  • Keep EHS equipment neat, clean and in safe operating condition.
  • Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Validating methods and equipment.
  • Controlling and handling EHS chemicals safely.
  • Prepare daily usage report and monthly stock of EHS consumables.
  • Prepare Safety, Health, and Environmental annual training plans and follow-up the progress.
  • Compile accident and incident reports to show trend analysis, cost, and recommend improvement points and generate a report.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • BSc degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental health & sanitary or related field of studies.
  • Demonstrated track-record and ability to manage complex manufacturing operation.

Experience:

  • Two years’ experience in similar role
