Major duty and responsibilities

• Contribute to preparation of Annual work plan and budget for project area
• Coordinate environmental education/SEGNI/ School clubs related activities in the project area
• Documenting reports relating to his / her role and contribute to project area progress report
• Advice project status, barriers and proposes solution;
• Follow up activities in the schools under the SEGNI clubs & council and submit regular report to project coordinator
• Co-coordinate the environment at conservation and rehabilitation activity that will take place at the project area
• Write periodic reports and stories related to the women, youth & children program
• Communicate with the project area Kebeles and woreda representatives and collaborate on tasks relating to MELCA’s programs / project
• Facilitate community mobilization
• Participate in fund raising activities
• Manage the project site area and project office

Job Requirement

Required Experience and Qualification

• In Natural Science or other work related social Science
• At least 3 years in experience in environmental activities
• Working in a multi –Cultural environment is an Asset
• Knowledge of local language in the project area is required
