Job Description


The role requires completing qualified electrician for diagnosing electrical faults and performing equipment repairs. Maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, record keeping, and assisting with machinery modification are also part of the responsibilities

In collaboration with the maintenance team, you diligently carry out all maintenance activities on Axon in order to keep the Hospital functional and safe place. You will carry out your work in compliance with the responsibilities described in the Axon’s Maintenance Control Manual by complying to the company’s directions. Your colleague’s and our customers’ safety are at the core of your actions and decisions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or mustimeter installations
  • Splice, join and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
  • Ability to install conduit, wire, distribution, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm devices, communication cabling and devices
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics or prints
  • Building and wiring of electrical control panels
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About You

Qualifications 

  • Education: collage graduate /Diploma or TVET      certificated
  • Experience: 2 years preferably in Hospital
  • Experience lift /escalator maintenance and service
