Responsibilities:

• Conducts trainings and peer group discussion programs on HIV/Aids related issues, life skills and behavior change for in school youth, AACs, CBO’s and commercial sex workers applying tailor-made approaches
• Establishes, facilitates and carries out awareness raising programs with AACs, schools, community leaders;
• Carries out IEC/BCC activities for various target groups;
• Instructs and trains motivators and volunteers;
• Conduct surveys to monitor & evaluate of the results of the activities of the department;

Job Requirement

Education/training

• Diploma in Clinical Nursing and related fields from recognized College or University;
• Training on community mobilization and community conversation;
• Knowledge on HIV-related issues and ABC-approach;
• Certification in HIV-counseling and related training;

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in outreach activities working with CBOs and youth;
• experience in working with CSWs is preferable;

Technical and other skills

• Strong communicating skills in addressing various target groups and stakeholders;
• Strong training and mentoring skills;
