RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Drive with due care for the vehicle itself, so as not to damage vehicle bodywork or engine.
• Perform daily vehicle check at start and end of each day, and record kilometer start and end of each day in vehicle Log Book.
• Before each journey check the fuel levels and emergency kit as outlined in the VLB.
• Inform Logistics Officer/Assistant of any vehicle faults so that he can arrange repair and update Vehicle Logbook.
• Keep trip log, noting kilometers and location when refueling and at end of day.
• Report any incidents, security or otherwise, after trip (or during trip where serious).
• Always assure the safety of the passengers through safe driving
• Inform general service regarding any accident including nature of accident, injured parties, damage to vehicle and any other essential info (location, time, etc.).
• Comply with Rules and Procedures for ENAB Driver Policy.
• Complete the Log book for each journey each day ensuring that the team leader signs for each journey
• Complete the Log book for each journey each day ensuring that the team leader signs for each journey
• Sign Packing List/Delivery Docket for goods being transported.
• Inform the Logistics Officer/Assistant of any difficulties or problems encountered.
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Job Requirement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a driver
• Basic mechanic knowledge
• Valid 3^rd grade driving license for the relevant category of vehicles
