What You Will Learn And Contribute To

As STP/ENUM Technical Manager you will be responsible for deploying and supporting NetNumber STP/ENUM solutions for its customers.

General Purpose

  • Proactively plans and performs advanced technical activities requiring knowledge in multiple areas or on a system level providing excellent Services to the customer.
  • Prioritizes work based on customer and business impact and brings expertise to customer site on need basis.
  • Passionate in Service of the Business and learning new technologies

Main Responsibility Area

  • Support Installation, Integration, Acceptance testing, Operations & Maintenance, and any ongoing modification (including upgrades) & configuration changes to the NetNumber STP/ENUM Solutions
  • Review technical requirements, MOP Preparation, and perform STP/ENUM Scale-out on VMware through redeployment
  • Technical support for STP and ENUM Activities
  • Provide technical clarifications on the STP and ENUM Activities to stakeholders
  • Support Network integration activities, Configuration, Testing, and troubleshooting
  • Able to capture traces and provide technical analysis for STP and ENUM

  • Participates as an expert in own technology area in customer projects.
  • May support areas by participating in emergency off-hours duty. Is active in networking and knowledge sharing.
  • Develops processes, tools and working methods.

Requirements:

  • Delivered STP and ENUM projects in the recent past for Nokia or other Telecom Vendors
  • Good knowledge of 3G/4G/5G Mobile domain and call flows
  • Candidates with experience on STP and ENUM deployment on VMware will be preferred
  • Candidates with experience in the below Nokia products will be preferred (in the order of priority):
  • CS Core (MSS/MGW) will be preferred
  • CBIS, CBAM and NCS will be preferred
  • Experience of working on both Virtualized and Bare-metal solutions (above products) will be preferred
  • Is a change agent. Has the ability to change the tone of a call and persuade others to follow their technical lead
  • Ability to multi-task, managing a live bridge with customer and troubleshoot on live network. Knows how to buy time with tact
  • Decisive and able to make difficult decisions. Prioritizing and takes appropriate actions, yet willing to be held accountable for those decisions and actions
  • Knowledge in system level parameters and understand KPIs
  • Must have practical debug experiences with complex system designs
  • Expertise on handling Protocol Analyzer Tools and Internal Message Monitoring

Other Requirements

  • Engineer graduated in Telecommunications, IT or Electronic Engineering
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong experience and understanding of Cellular Networks (GMS, UMTS, LTE) and IP Networks
  • Experience with Implementation, Integration, Acceptance Tests, O&M and/or Care for Telecommunication Products
  • Competences/Expertise in GSM/UMTS/LTE system validation (end-to-end performance, KPI handling, mobile devices)
  • Experience in Emergency Support activities
