Job Summary

Major responsibilities: Lead and facilitate the distribution of alternative energy sources to the beneficiary and facilitate trainings about utilization and management of energy sources, conduct need assessment for energy sources

Job Requirement

Educational qualification,

• BA/BSc or MA/MSc in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, Engineering (electro-mechanical), Natural Resources Management, Biomass energy, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Food security and disaster risk management or related fields
• Work Experience: Minimum of Four years for BA/BSc or   Two years for MA/MSc of with NGOs experience on planning, programming on natural resources management, Rural and urban Development, Value chain Development and Food Security is an advantage

Skills & experience:

• High integrity and willingness to conduct her/himself transparently and open to scrutiny.
• Familiarity with the work of NGOs is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitation skills and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong empathy skills and genuine care and respect for the needs of others especially female and another marginalized group.
• The ability to work in a harsh areas
• Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to humanitarian principles and values
• Terms of Employment : Definite Term i.e, (from July 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022)

Travel Required – frequent travel to Project target areas should be required

Duty Station : Afar ( Field base with frequent travel to project sites)
