The Disbursement and Payroll Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Finance Department in managing day-to-day payment and payroll processes. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, proper documentation, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and banks. The Junior Accountant will also contribute to reconciliations, monthly and yearly closing activities, and provide support during external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices, disbursements, bank transfers, and payroll transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payment logs, reports, and reconciliations.
• Ensure completeness and proper archiving of financial and contractual documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, staff, and banks to ensure timely processing of payments.
• Support account closing processes, external audits, and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
