Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for driving end to end solutions throughout the Bank. Works closely with the key stakeholders to gather customer requirements, translate them into clear requirements documents, write compelling business cases and proposals, and then implement those approved and prioritized by the IT Steering Committee to deliver cost-effective solutions. S/he ensures proper implementation of the application and reliability of database administration. Specifically the role will oversee IT help desk service, database administration, data center management, systems administration and systems operation.

Job Requirement

Educational qualification and Experience: Master’s degree in Information technology, computer engineering, computer science or related field of study or other related fields or B.A Degree in computer science, Information technology, computer engineering or related field of study.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years for MA holders and 10 years for BA holders of banking experiences of which 4 years in a managerial position.

Place of Work: Finfinnee/Addis Ababa, Head Office. Gazebo/Washington Square

General requirements

• IFB knowledge and experiences are preferential.
• Proficiency in Afan Oromo, Amharic and English Languages is are required.
