Job Summary
The Digital and Technology Support Facilitator is responsible for managing and supporting FH’s digital and technology ecosystem at the Area Program (AP) and all its communities to realize value for the shareholders and investors. This position plays a key role in planning, implementing and supporting ongoing operations and projects in support of the Digital and Technology ecosystem including hardware, software, internet connectivity, data accuracy and end-user support. The role includes partnering and supporting digital development initiatives focused on using digital and technology to empower communities, improving access to resources, and enhancing the AP’s impact.
Principal Responsibilities:
Enterprise IT Management
- Coordinate with the CO IT for the procurement, distribution, and management of IT assets, including WiFi networks, desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment at the AP level. Maintain an up-to-date inventory with the CO IT Support Team. –
- Oversee the maintenance of all desktop and laptop computers at the AP level, ensuring timely updates for operating systems, software applications, and endpoint protection in collaboration with the CO IT Manager
- Manage Technology tickets from arrival to resolution for both incidents and requests in coordination with the CO IT.
- Contribute to development, implementation and management of risk mitigation plans including business continuity, safety of IT assets, and disaster recovery process. Support regular security audits and vulnerability assessments in consultation with CO IT
- Support in the implementation of lT policies and standards and monitoring their compliance. Provide regular reports to CO IT Manager.
- Support alignment with IT policies, the security and confidentiality of all data managed within the enterprise and digital ecosystems.
Digital Solutions Management:
- In close consultation with the CO IT manager, manage the installation and user support for all applications related to the AP and the digital ecosystem. Ensure the applications are correctly configured up-to-date, secure, and functioning efficiently.
- Ensure the availability, access, and effective management of FH Ethiopia AP digital devices for use by staff, volunteers, shareholders, and partners. Ensure that all authorized users have the necessary access and permissions to effectively utilize the applications.
- Provide continuous technical support to users, addressing any issues or challenges they encounter with the applications ensuring a smooth user experience. Act as the focal point for technical support ensuring that the AP teams and volunteers receive timely support and that the SLAs[EH1] are met as per the standards.
- Monitor and maintain the applications regularly to ensure they are up-to-date, secure, and functioning efficiently.
- Support data processes by ensuring the availability and management of tools for data acquisition and management, enabling accurate and efficient data handling.
- Provide support in deployment and monitoring of Mobile Device Management ensuring that devices are appropriately configured, secured, and compliant with the standards.
Data Management
- Regularly receive and verify and enter electronic data for individual registration in wl3 and ensure the accuracy of data and update database timely.
- Responsible for data obtained from different studies and surveys into statistical or database management software as appropriate.
- Assist in processing and compiling; cleaning all data sets obtained from project officers for direct activities/output in wl3
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems for staff, including remote teams.
Digital Initiatives and Projects
- Collaborate with the cross functional teams in planning, implementation, and monitoring of the digital and technology initiatives and projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring on-time delivery and value realization.
- Gather user feedback to continually assess and improve systems and processes for experience, efficiency and effectiveness.
Digital for Development
- Support efforts to leverage digital tools and technologies for development purposes, fostering innovation and improvement in program delivery.
- Provide training and support to staff, volunteers, shareholders and partners to ensure they are equipped to use digital tools and devices effectively in their roles, in fostering community transformation and greater engagement and competency in the digital ecosystem.
- Support in designing digital solutions to bridge the digital divide and that they are inclusive and co-created with the shareholders focused on value as determined by them.
Organizational Culture
- Promote the integration of FH’s Culture within the digital ecosystem
- Ensure that all digital initiatives align with the organization’s spiritual mission and vision.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that digital tools and platforms contribute to the spiritual formation and development of staff, volunteers, and community members.

⮚ Every FHE staff member must learn and understand the security situation where they are located.
⮚ Each FHE staff member should adhere to all pertinent policies concerning safety and security. This includes but is not limited to, personal safety, road safety, etc.
⮚ He/she has a responsibility to become familiar with social, cultural, and other associated features of their duty stations;
⮚ Abstains from inappropriate or offensive behavior that can put FHE in a difficult position, impair operations, and jeopardize the health and welfare of all staff of FHE.

Job Level Specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other data management and analysis software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of device management software, digital ecosystem tools, and best practices in data security and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Language
- Proficiency in the English language and ability to speak the local language is an added advantage
Supervisory Responsibility
- The position will supervise the community incentive workers.
