Job Description


Since the establishment of Oromia International Bank on September 18, 2008, OB obtained a banking business license, we’ve drawn on our financial strength to serve customers. We also recognize that this past year has fundamentally changed banking by accelerating the shift to digital products and services. We’re positioned well for this future, having launched new tools – like our Oroclick and Mobile Banking app – to complement our 300 branch footprint.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience Requirements:  MBA/MA or BA degree in Marketing Management/Business Administration/ Economics or related fields of study with 11years of relevant experience of which 4years on Department Director or equivalent  positions for BA holders or 9years of relevant experience of which 4years on Department Director or equivalent  positions for MBA/MA holders. Experience in marketing management is mandatory while experience in financial institution is advantageous. The requirements of National Bank of Ethiopia remain applicable

  • Functional Competency [Corporate governance, Policy Development, Industry / Market Analysis, Industry Product Knowledge, Brand Development & Management).
  • In addition to the above competencies, the position’s holder shall manages the marketing, research, public relation and partnership process of the Bank, he/she is responsible for Planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, controlling and supervising the overall process of  marketing, research, public relation and partnership of the Bank in line with the best practices, policy and procedures of the Bank
  • Additional/special skill: Knowledge of basic computer skill for all positions.
