Integrated Service on Health and Development Organization (ISHDO) is registered non-governmental organization. Integrated Service on Health and Development Organization (ISHDO) is registered non-governmental organization. It was established in 1997 as local NGO. It has been funded by different Donors and implement different projects. Currently there are 2 major projects on HIV Prevention Care and treatment. Among these, one is USAID Family Focused HIV prevention Care and Treatment Activity.

Job summary

Under the supervision of the Care and Support Officer, the Data Clerk will be responsible to collect paper-based data form from social service workers and case workers, verify, enter and clean the data in USAID unified data and keep the files and hard copy data for verification.

Detail Job responsibilities

  • Collecting data on timely manner from social service workers, clinical coordinators, care and support officers
  • Verifying and entering data on timely manner in UDS and maintaining accurate records of valuable beneficiary and organizational information
  • Conducting data verification and cleaning as needed
  • Submitting data base report on monthly bases
  • Keep files and documents organized for organization
  • Follow all source data are documented in a proper manner
  • Perform
  •  other related activities as assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements

Required education and experiences

  • Minimum of Diploma in computer science, IT, ICT, Data administration, data base management and related field of study with 2 to 4 years’ experience as data clerk in USAID funded activities or data base management (entry and analysis)
  • Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Web Conferencing etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic (spoken and written) skills in English, Amharic and Oromiffa is a requirement
  •  Able to work independently to meet project targets

  • Good interpersonal communication skills and positive professional attitude
  •  Ability and great interest to work in team and be good team player.
