Position Overview

P2P is seeking a Content Editor. The content editor is a key member of the organization writing responsible for creating well-articulated articles, press releases, stories, emails and social media contents (tweets, Facebook posts and etc.).

The content editor must be able to write clearly, engagingly and with enthusiasm about P2P accomplishments, plans, upcoming events and goals.  The editor must be a self-starter and can work and deliver with or without supervision taking a very pro-active position to deliver the right content at the right time.

The content editor will work along with website developer to make sure the website is updating with the latest content and reflect the current state of the organization activities.

Job Requirement

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Journalism or Communications; English; Political Science; Public Policy; or related subjects
• The ability to speak confidently and diplomatically with colleagues at all levels of an organization
• The ability to work effectively with a large and varied team, whether in person or remotely
• Familiarity with WordPress-based websites and social media platforms is a plus.
