Job Title: Construction Specialist

Job Title: Textile Engineer

• Special skill and knowledge: Excellent computer skill, knowledge of fabric finishing skill

• Those who have experiences in modern textile machines installation, waste water treatment installation, operation, and a well develop experience in fabric finishing most preferable.

Qualifications/Skills

• Education: An advanced university degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture, or other relevant area. A first level university degree (Bachelor’s) in a relevant technical field (as identified above), in conjunction with additional two (2) years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

• Work Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in project management, site supervision, quality assurance and/or other directly related technical fields is required, Understanding of development and humanitarian work, Emergency experience will be an added advantage.

• Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Amharic is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (French, Spanish, Arabic, or Russian) or the local language is an asset.
