World Vision Ethiopia began its first intervention in Ethiopia in 1971 with relief and opened the Ethiopia office in 1975. Relief, rehabilitation and small community development projects dominated the decade that followed. During the 1984/85 drought, World Vision Ethiopia participated in a massive relief operation that saved the lives of millions of people.

• Participate in selection, registration and verification of beneficiary HHs for agricultural input support and facilitate trainings.
• Facilitate the transportation of inputs from Woreda capital to the distribution points/kebeles together with woreda agriculture office and Emergency agriculture project coordinator
• Receive approved beneficiary list from Emergency agriculture project coordinator and distribute the inputs as per approved distribution plan, using the master beneficiary list, with the support of project support committee of the kebele.
• Report the input distributed, training conducted and the challenges faced at daily basis.
• Submit completed distribution lists together with recipient’s signature, photographic evidence (with GPS coordinates), and final reports and related documents to his/her supervisor as per the distribution form.
• Handle all project activities and support register beneficiary using LMMS technology.

Required Education & Work Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience in agriculture development and/or emergency response.
• BSc degree in agriculture and rural development, preferably plant science or Horticulture
• NGO experience in the area is preferable
• Grass root experience area of input distribution
• Experience of beneficiary record keeping
• Experience of target selection
• Intensive skills of working on MS-word and MS-excel
• Analytical skills of data management, good report writing and presentation
