- The responsibility of the Clinical Nurse is to implement the Life-Saving Emergency Health Response in two disaster and conflict-affected communities in West wellega zones in Guliso district of Oromia region.
- S/he will provide capacity building training to health workers in cholera case management, Psychological First Aid (PFA), and outbreak investigation, verification and response.
- The incumbent will provide technical support to Strengthen health facilities to deliver quality cholera case management series, MHPSS services to crisis affected people with mental health needs to support children, their family members and their care givers who have difficulties to cope with stress. The position holder will facilitate referral of people with special needs to Health and nutrition service delivery points and referral of undernourished children to stimulation programs to reduce the chance of developmental disability and to enhance child development
Requirements
Required Professional Experience
- Previous work experience at least 2 years as a member of Mobile Health and Nutrition Team with NGOs.
- Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Public Health/Nursing with minimum of two years relevant experience for degree holders and four years of experience for Diploma holders. Additional certificate on Emergency Drug Kits, PHEM, MHPSS and IPC for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an asset.
