We are looking for a capable CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who will be our first point of contact for technology and will play an important role in determining the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our overall technology development and technology usage plan, as well as managing all of our company’s information technology resources.

Objectives of this Role

• Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships
• Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions
• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
• Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
• Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design
• Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets
• Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
• Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each
• Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment
• Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
• Engage with inspiring designers and front end engineers, and collaborate with leading back end engineers
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape
• Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity
• Work closely with Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant field
• Experience in full-stack development and In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, and development
• Hands-on experience with complex project management
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
