Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Set objectives and strategies for the IT department
• Develop goals and strategies to ensure the IT department runs smoothly and effectively
• Direct and organize IT-related projects
• Monitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways the company can improve and develop
• Plan and direct the implementation of new IT systems
• Select and implement suitable technology to streamline internal operations and help optimize strategic benefits
• Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the company to ensure optimal performance
• Provide leadership to IT specialists and other staff within the company
• Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and establish regular maintenance
• Prepare specifications for and approve purchases of technological equipment and software
• Analyze the costs, value and risks of IT to advise management and suggest actions

Terms and Benefits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or related fields
• Minimum of five years’ experience in information technology and data management of which 1+ year in a leadership position
• Proven experience as CIO or similar managerial role
• Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
• In depth knowledge of data administration and management processes
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
