Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate & ensure all child sponsorship business processes are implemented on timely manners as per sponsorship policies, standards and procedures through monitoring and following up RC Management, Sponsorship Performances (SOIs, CMS and other GNOD Issues, etc.), data reconciliation and system upgrades, RC/family support and participations using various tools, and analyze and share the reports with all concerned for timely action.
  • Monitor the integration of sponsorship and programs and CWB (education, health/nutrition and protection, etc.) is ensured.
  • Ensure Community Engagement and Sponsorship Project is properly implemented and aligned with new operational models, NO strategies and global sponsorship initiatives and the engagement of children and their meaningful participation in program activities
  • Identify the skill gaps of front line staffs and build their capacity and provide technical support and advice to CPO/APs staffs to meet sponsorship requirements and standards. Ensure the capacity building program for volunteers and control quality of volunteers program.
  • Ensure timely collection and delivery of sponsor-to-child and child-to-sponsor mails/parcels/gifts and seasonal cards so as to strengthen donor engagement and relationship between children and their sponsors.
  • Take part and contribute to CPO level planning guidance on designing/redesigning of AP programs to ensure sponsorship minimum programming standards and SiP are incorporated in the planning documents. Coordinate and follow up timely management of AP transitions related activities like Project Closure Comment/report, Fare-well Letters and video and RC drops as per the SOs guidance.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely and quality delivery of inputs for APRs and Christmas Cards design and monitor children participation in their child to sponsor communications in order to satisfy and then retain sponsors.
  • Monitor and follow up the effective utilization and reporting of funds like Birthday Bounce Back funds, gift kits and GNs aligned with the standards and the organization’s development approaches.
  • Network and build smooth relationship with partners and stakeholders by handling sponsor visits, providing quality sponsorship information and service as required.
  • Prepare and submit CPO Annual Sponsorship Plan, monthly, quarterly and annual sponsorship accomplishment reports to all concerned in timely manner.

Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

Qualifications: 

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Qualification required: BA/BSc Degree in English, Psychology, Sociology, Management and other related Social Science fields.
  • Experience:  Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Child Sponsorship and development program.
  • Preferred: MA English, Psychology, Development studies and other relevant fields with 2 yrs experience in supervisory levels.
