Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) that aspires to see all marginalized children properly fostered. The organization has four major programs; Child Development, Gender and Life Skill Development; Skills and Entrepreneurship Development and Lobby & advocacy. DEC works in five National Regional States of Amhara, Afar, Gambela, Oromia Benishangul, and Addis Ababa City Administration. DEC would like to recruit for the following position: CCCM mobile officer

Job Summary

CCCM Mobile officer is responsible for the timely completion of work orders and split the time between the office and field locations ,Committed to the vision and mission of the organization and Partners He/She Ensure that IDPs are adequately covered and supported in the target regions

Responsibilities

  • plan, organize and implement events including workshops, awareness-raising campaigns, and experience-sharing opportunities;
  • Coordinate closely with the responsible bodies to monitor the needs of IDPs
  • Facilitating technical training and workshops related to project;
  • Conduct regular field visits to project sites to verify quality/progress of Emergency project activities interventions
  • Facilitate IDP project activity planning at targeted communities and district level.
  • Gather and collect relevant data for socio-economic monitoring and studies for future scaling up of the project in the program area
  • Guarantee timely development and implementation of monthly and quarterly work plans and budgets;
  • Harmonize the implementation of Project activities by ensuring good collaboration and networking with other partners operating in the targeted area.
  • Provide quality reports timely and have a proper documentation

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

  • MA/BA , Social Work Social Science, and other related fields.
  • At least 2 years direct CSO work experience.

Technical and other Skills

  • Ability to work with Humanitarian Response activities and IDPs at their preferred time including out-of-working hours.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both local and English languages.
  • Willing to work in the harsh area including on the weekend and evening
