Job Description


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and verify the payment requests from petty cash, purchase fund or check payments and ensure the timely replenishment of these funds so that sufficient cash will always be available on the hands of the cashier.
  • Keeping documentation, filling and track of all cash and advance transactions, preparing recipes for cash replenishment Prepare documents and receipts and ensure proper tax is implemented during purchase or refund request.
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports;
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts;
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets;
  • Processes payments which involve ensuring all payments are adequately supported by appropriate documentation;
  • Maintain the accounting reporting process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all ledgers and all supporting documentations and compliance with finance and procurement regulations;
  • Ensure expenses are authorized and processed in accordance with agreed procedures and according to the finance regulation;
  • Maintain accounting records, ensuring they are complete, accurate, well archived and safeguarded;
  • Responsible to maintain files of financial records, contract agreements, and other documents.
  • Assist in Preparation of weekly petty cash reports by reconciling receipts versus cash in hand.
  • Issue receipts, refunds if needed /process payment according to the policy of the company.
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
  • Prepare Cheque
  • Check daily cash accounts.
  • Maintains monthly, a weekly and daily reports of transactions & retain.
  • Balance the daily account at the end of each day.
  • Solve all their cash related queries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification and Skill /Competence

  • BA Degree in Accounting /Finance
  • Minimum 4 Years of work Experience in
  • Working knowledge of tax laws;
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
  • Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting
  • Strong financial analysis skills;
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision;
  • Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality and impartiality (Not being a member of any political party);
