OCFCU  looking for an experienced carbon  project coordinator   who is a true professional in environmental standards and guidelines and who is capable of telling our story and best practices to external stakeholders as well as being a professional expert to the internal organization in emission reduction, enveronmenta1 and coffee   area.

Role and Responsibility

• It is responsible for following implementation targets though preparing project, project monitoring and evolution.
• Conducting base line survey related to environmental, economc and social related issues at coffee farmers level though oromia coffee producing area.
• Preparing survey report and submit to the concerned bady based on the demand of the union.
• Organizing stock holder consultation meeting at field level and regional level on identified projects.
• Preparing local stock holder’s consultation report for local and international stock holders.
• Preparing Project design documents (PDD) and submit to stock holders.
• Facilitate the purchase and use of project resources according to the implementation plan
• Facilitate administrative set up and payment for project staff
• Supervise the overall work of the project
• Follow the budget and facilitate transfer of many
• Facilitate stove production and payment up on cooperative balance payment
• Approve stove order\conduct regular field visit
• Coordinate the quarter activity report for concerned body
• Investigates environmental incidents and maintains a system of reporting incidents
• Ensures accurate submission/reporting of various carbon project.

• Presentation & training skills
• Broad interest in agricultural and climate change issues.

Required qualification and experience

• BA/Master Degree/PHD in environmental science, Agro economic, Rural development, development study from a recognized University.
• 8/6/4years of relevant working experience in NGO, privet company, Universities or research center  Advance MS office user ( word, excel and power point)
• Knowledge of project writing.
