National Tobacco Enterprise Ethiopia S.C., a member of Japan Tobacco International/JTI/, is looking for a Business Partners Support Specialist: Recruitment to support and facilitate all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing and shortlisting candidates.

Summary

The Recruitment Specialist responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting respective People & Culture Business Partners. Ultimately, you will be responsible for attracting qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

The ideal incumbent is going to perform the following key activities, but not limited to:

  • Create and publish job ads in various job boards that are verified by the company.
  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
  • Collaborate with respective Business Partners to set qualification criteria for future employees.
  • Conduct initial phone interview to screens and create shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Arrange interview with candidates in line with the hiring manager and respective Business partner calendar.
  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
  • Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys.
  • Follow up job fairs programs and attend and collect potential candidates resume.
  • Follow up and support the candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification: Degree from recognized university in Human Resource Management and other related fields.

Experience: Ideally 1 year of related work experience in an FMCG’s environment.

Required skill:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Collaborative, excellent ability to build and nurture external and internal relationships.
  • Resourcefulness, follow up and persistence.
  • Confident MS office user.
  • Recommendable communication skill both in English and Amharic.
